Done
Done book 17 finally. What a waste of paper that book was! I honestly don't know if I want to continue with the House of Night books! It took me forever to get through it! I have no idea what book I will start now that I'm finally done such a let down of a book. Here we are in March where i'd hoped to read fifty books and I've read 17! Oh well, I'll keep plugging away

The House of Night books really are a waste of time. I own and have read all the ones that are out, and while I wish I hadn't wasted my time, I know that I'll buy the rest of them when they come out simply because I can't stand to only own part of a series and I won't give them away. (I'm a book hoarder, too!)
ReplyDeleteIf I had read them when I was about thirteen, maybe I would like them, but I doubt it. They aren't written very well, they are rushed, and the characters are extremely unrealistic. Not just because they are vampires - or rather, "vampyres" as they are spelled in the books, either!
In all honestly, the background of the books is such a great idea that I was really disappointed about how awful the books were. I really like the idea of random and natural changes being the cause of the change, and there was so much that could have been done with that.
Ah, well, at least they didn't take up too much of my time. I read them all within a few days.
